LAND BASED APPRENTICESHIP

Herbs dont just come in pills! In the Land Based Apprenticeship program, students gain a great appreciation for herbs as vibrant, living creatures with busy lives of their own. The program is designed to teach herbalism in an outdoor environment. Students camp for the duration of their program, learning organic gardening, cultivation, plant identification, harvesting and medicine making, plant spirit medicine and more. The class is kept very small, for intensive one on one interaction with the instructors. Over this period, students eat, work, study and play together, learning social responsibility and a genuine respect and love for one another and the Land. This program is perfectly designed for students just beginning to explore the fascinating world of herbalism, or for those students who have trained via self study, correspondence or residence based programs which did not include herbal cultivation or medicine making.
