  • An exploration of the metaphoric and thematic aspects of shock in shaping our lives.
  • Palpation of shock energies within the system and differentiation of the two main types of shock patterns: shock systs and shock fractures.
  • Open session trades oriented towards personal healing.
  • Continued development of verbal skills and interventions in the context of shock resolution, fostered through demonstration and personal practice.

A class for practioners of bodywork and other professional modatlities.

Taught by Eric Dimalanta, DC

Classes will be a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration and palpation. Students will be tested on the information presented, and awarded a Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion of the course.

Prerequisites:
This course is inteded for massage and bodywork professionals, and students currently enrolled in a massage therapy certification program.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Gently manipulate joints to determin their effective range of motion.
  • Assess possible contraindications for massage and bodywork.
  • Perform basic, non-invasive tests.
  • Understand and utlize basic medical terminology.
  • Communicate more effectively with physicians and medical personnel.
