- Palpation of shock energies within the system and differentiation of the two main types of shock patterns: shock systs and shock fractures.
- Open session trades oriented towards personal healing.
- Continued development of verbal skills and interventions in the context of shock resolution, fostered through demonstration and personal practice.

Classes will be a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration and palpation. Students will be tested on the information presented, and awarded a Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion of the course.
Prerequisites:
This course is inteded for massage and bodywork professionals, and students currently enrolled in a massage therapy certification program.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Gently manipulate joints to determin their effective range of motion.
- Assess possible contraindications for massage and bodywork.
- Perform basic, non-invasive tests.
- Understand and utlize basic medical terminology.
- Communicate more effectively with physicians and medical personnel.
